Everything shared with your therapist during the course of therapy will be kept confidential. However, confidentiality may be breached if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, in accordance with safety protocols. Additionally, therapists undergo supervision where the therapy process may be discussed to enhance treatment effectiveness.
2. Informed Consent:
Clients have the right to be fully informed about the therapy process, including the therapist's qualifications, the methods used, potential risks, benefits, and alternatives. Clients must provide consent before therapy begins.
3. Respect and Dignity:
Clients will be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity, in alignment with Trauma Release and Wellness Centre's trauma-informed approach.
4. Right to Refuse and Terminate:
Clients can refuse any treatment or intervention they are uncomfortable with and may withdraw from therapy at any time. Discontinuation or termination of therapy is done on mutual understanding, and a closure session or phone call can be arranged to facilitate the closing process.
5. Access to Records:
Clients have the right to access their therapy records, though this is subject to certain legal and clinical considerations.
6. Quality of Care:
Clients have the right to receive competent, professional, and evidence-based care from qualified therapists. At the Trauma Release and Wellness Centre, therapists hold advanced degrees and international certifications, with specialized training in trauma recovery, relationship issues, anxiety management, and other areas.
7. Clear Communication:
Clients are entitled to clear and open communication with their therapist, including details about session fees, scheduling, and treatment goals. The therapeutic relationship is strictly professional, and contact outside sessions is limited to organizational channels
8. Non-Discrimination:
Therapy is provided without discrimination, and clients are treated equitably regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or other personal characteristics
9. Participation in Treatment Planning:
Clients have the right to actively participate in their treatment planning, ensuring that the therapy aligns with their goals and preferences.

1. Active Participation:
Clients are expected to engage actively in their therapy, including being open and honest during sessions. They should communicate any difficulties or concerns they may encounter.
2. Commitment to the Process:
Clients are responsible for attending scheduled sessions regularly. Sessions are pre-booked, and the same slot is reserved weekly unless otherwise requested.
3. Payment:
Clients are responsible for understanding and fulfilling their financial obligations. Payments for in-person sessions can be made before or after the session, either in cash or via online transfer. Online sessions require advance payment, after which the session link will be provided. International clients can use Paymob, with a 4.2% service charge applicable.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Clients are expected to communicate any cancellations or rescheduling requests 24 hours prior to their session. Same-day cancellations or rescheduling are considered paid cancellations, with fees equivalent to the session cost
5. Respecting Boundaries:
Clients must respect the professional boundaries of the therapeutic relationship. Contact between sessions is limited to organizational contacts, and therapists will not engage in social interactions outside of therapy unless mutually agreed upon.
6. Adherence to Treatment Plan:
Clients should follow through with any agreed-upon interventions or homework, and are encouraged to discuss any challenges they face with their therapist.
7. Safety:
Clients must inform their therapist of any thoughts of self-harm, harm to others, or other safety concerns, enabling the therapist to take appropriate action.
8. Counseling Guidelines & Policies:
Clients are reminded of the importance of adhering to the counseling guidelines, such as session reminders, pre-booking of sessions, and the use of provided communication channels.
